Exploring the dessert

Here are some videos and pictures of this beautiful place.

Here is just the street outside our flat / building.

 Walking around the street

 The beautiful dessert sunset

It is a beautiful place with ancient chandeliers on the main entrance.

The Muttrah Souq is the place to be when finding souvenirs, it is a labyrinth inside with small pathways like this.

With the local vendor at Muttrah Souq

Gold is cheap here baby..

This place is where the sea meets the stone mountains.
Behind me is actually a place where luxury yachts park their sails.

Oman's country slogan is: Beauty has an address

Truly Indeed...

  1. Hi Kaykrizz,

Congrats! Nasa Oman ka na pala!
I've been a stalker of your blog ever since I've been trying to land a job as a flight attendant. LOL! And I've passed to work at Oman Air din just this May. I just want to ask if pano ba yung process ng medical. I've read a lot na, pero di padin ako mapakali. Some say, na onti lang yung ipapamedical dito, since may medical ulit sa Oman. Is it true? And how much? Kasi, baka maloka ako sa medical, Kasi when my sister got hired for Emirates, a few years back inabot ng 20k yung medical nya.
Tsaka last, gano katagal inantay mo bago ka nakaalis ng pinas?

TIA. Hope to see you soon!

  9. Hi Kaykrizz, congrats! :-) Very helpful ang blog mo, also napaka-encouraging mo when it comes to answering questions. Hehehe.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask if Oman Air is very strict when it comes to moles and slightly discolored teeth. Would you know if they'll just ask the applicant to have them bleached or are they usually turned down? Thank you! :-)

  14. Hi! I just saw that oman air is again hiring. I would just like to ask how is the environment there in oman? Are they very strict considering they are a muslim country? Also do you get the benefit of going home as your leave? How often do they allow such leaves? Thank you. You're really an inspiration.

    1. Hi sis,
I am glad you asked that question. We are generally very happy here. not so strict compared to other countries. But and sahod mas mababa nga lang sa iba.. which is fine with me as long as i am happy with what I do.. Then 1 year flying na muna bago makakuha ng europe at asia destinations. yes we have 1 free annual leave ticket. 40 days vacay in a year din sis

  15. Good Day Ms. KayKrizz!

Thank you for your lovely blogs, they have been very helpful.

I would just like to ask something quite sensitive. I hope you can help me with my situation.

I would just like to know the basic salary and your flying hours pay and how many hours do you fly in a month?

I apologize for asking such sensitive question, it's just that I am currently working in another airline company here in the GCC but I really want to transfer to another airline cuz here, every move we make is being watched. We are not free at all.

I am actually waiting for my offer letter for WY cuz I got accepted last May. Please help me by answering my questions cuz I don't want to regret anything.

I know you have a kind heart and you will help people reach their dreams. I really appreciate your big help. I will be waiting for your response. Thank you so much!
