Every end of a journey marks a new beginning. We are 25 girls in a class and it really is amazing how all of us got along so well. It is truly a blessing from the Lord. The fact that we are all the same nationality may have helped but that could not be the only thing that have hold us together, for you know girls... will be girls. They may have been some petty stuff but I am amazed at how matured all of us were and I personally never heard of anyone saying a bad thing about someone (or maybe im just not *chismosa enough).
The training itself was amazing. I love the way the trainers have as if magically welcomed us to a whole new world. I myself have undergone aviation training before but this training have inspired me so much. (no pun intended. I also love and respect my previous company, I love our commitment to excellence and I am very very grateful for the kindness they have shown me). They did a wonderful job of showing us what the company is all about and I can sense the love the trainer has for the company and the pride that they have for being part of it. They also are very grateful for having achieved the positions that they are in, which is coveted by many.
But I do admit, I sort of see the world through a rose-tinted spectacles. Of course in every airline, or any job in the world there will be the uglier side of things. I am not naive, I have been flying before for 3 years in the Philippines. I know some days would be bad, but at least I have this great memory to pick not just me but also my batchmates up on those coming difficult days.
I cant wait to join in the real world of flying here in my new playground.
Fresh out of training,
kaykrizz
These things I will forever cherish in my heart...

Hi kaykrizz, you must be at oman air now with June rae padla, she was my classmate in college.

DeleteHi Kaykrizz, I come across with your blog while searching for cabin crew job openings and I must say, you have truly inspired and helped me in preparing for my application as a cabin crew. I have a question about how they usually do some screenings and how strict are they? I have a bit of scars in my legs but do you think, putting a leg make up will suffice? Thank you and God bless! :)
ReplyDeleteYes sister, put on leg make-up and concealer.. The strictness of the screening really depends on where you are applying. Good luck and God Bless!!
DeleteDo most airlines require a white underarm or just the arms, face and legs?
Deletethey wont look at the underarms my dear
