Top Secret Skin Care Solution in less than P100 ($2)

Shhhhh... top secret skin care recipe coming up!

This recipe I got from a co-worker who has the most sensitive skin I have ever met. She easily gets rashes from literally everything (dust, air, dirt) and she has her benadryl and her handy dandy alcohol whenever she goes. She taught me how to do her beauty secret because we were roommates and I am very curious on how she got beautiful skin I just bugged her until she told me. Anyways, enough chitchat and here it goes:

Disclaimer: Everybody has a different skin care type and depending on your skin status as of the moment some products may or may not work for you.

You would need:

1. empty container
2. 1 pc. cotton bud or Q-tips (or any clean stick)
3. Vit. E capsule (myra e costs about P20 $0.42)
4. Any Sunblock (maxi-peel is also good spf15 costs about $0.50 or P15)
5. Olay Moisturizer sachet ($0.23 or P10)
6. Nivea Day Cream moisturizer sachet ($0.32 or P15)

a pair of scissors

Instructions:

Step 1. Put the moisturizers and the sunblock in the empty container.
Step 2. Cut the end of the cotton bud / Q-tip as shown in the picture below.
Step 3. Cut the capsule and pour the oil in the container.
Step 4. Mix everything together using your cotton bud/ Q-tip mixer/ clean stick.

Product life:
Good for 1 month use.

And Viola!

You now got yourself a moisturizer ready to compete with the expensive brands you got in the market! This has sunblock and vitamin E plus two types of moisturizers combined. Use this morning and night before going to bed. This can be a great primer as well, that means you can apply this to your face before putting on make-up (that is what I do).

No amount of make-up can compensate for a well taken cared of skin. As they say in the make-up world, putting on make-up is an art and it is important to have a clean canvass for you to work on. By canvass, that means a healthy, glowing, clear skin.

Now the million dollar question is: How do you get that clear canvass/ skin???

In my opinion, aside from getting enough sleep, eating right and regular exercise it is by good skin care habits. Skin care regime that if you have not yet started to do, you must A.S.A.P. get started. The very basics of skin care is the daily 3 step process: wash-tone-moisturize morning and night. This has been my mantra for years and it has worked wonders for me. Any beauty expert, dermatologists, actors and actresses will tell you the same thing. So don't be lazy and get this habit started!

A weekly exfoliation and mask treatment is also a great skin treat to give your self. (This do not need to be expensive either! watch out on my follow up post on how to do this sisters! ^-^)

  2. Hi! I am still using it until now.. :) I love it and its great for me since i have dry skin. I just noticed if i use a different sunblock it is a bit oily but if i use maxi-peel sunblock its much more supple and less oily.
